EastSide Jazz can provide a wide rage of options for your event. We suggest you discuss your event in some detail with us so we can find the best combination to meet your musical and budgetary requirements. A typical event may include the following: Background music whilst you greet guests or eat - we can provide solo piano, solo classical guitar, or a light-jazz duo of sax and piano. They usually perform 2 x 1 hour sets with a short break in between but other timings are available. Please call to discuss! Music for dancing - we can provide the main EastSide Jazz band in a variety of combinations for dancing. This includes: • classic jazz trio - bass, drums, piano • sax & male vocal quartet - bass, drums, piano, sax with male vocals • female vocal quartet - bass, drums, piano, female vocals • quintet 1 - bass, drums, piano, guitar, sax with male vocals • quintet 2 - bass, drums, piano, sax with male vocals, female vocals • quintet 3 - bass, drums, piano, guitar, female vocals • sextet - bass, drums, piano, guitar, sax with male vocals, female vocals The set list covers a diverse range of popular jazz music styles including latin, swing, jive, groove, ballroom etc. See our Setlist page for more details and listen to examples on our demo page. Please call to discuss! Continuous recorded disco music for dancing - when the main band has finished playing we can also provide a disco service. This uses professional DJ software on an iPad through our high quality PA sound system and includes disco lighting. The playlist includes popular dance music from Motown to contemporary. When you have decided on the options you want, please complete the booking form and send it together with a deposit of £100 to secure your date. Please note we cannot reserve a date until a deposit is received. Summer months on Saturday nights are especially busy so we recommend that you book early to avoid disappointment!
